The Non-Tenure Track Faculty Union at School of the Art Institute of Chicago is raising funds to support one of our members who is experiencing homelessness. This Faculty (and alumni) lost one of their teaching jobs in the spring semester which led to them sleeping in and living out of their car and selling belongings for money to get by. This summer they lost their car and the storage unit that held all of their art.

For various reasons, they had been struggling to pay for medication that help with their grief and disabilities.

They have no familial supports, but have recently started staying with friends and applied for food and healthcare benefits. We are raising $2,000 to help them secure housing.
