Hurricane Melissa destroyed my grandparents’ home in Westmoreland, Jamaica. They’ve lived there for over 35 years — it was filled with love, memories, and everything they worked for. In one night, it was all gone.

Right now, they’re staying in a wooden shop below that barely survive the hurricane, they’ve lost almost everything — their clothes, furniture, and even important documents. They’re elderly and just need a safe place to call home again. My grandparents are kind, humble people who have always helped others, even when they didn’t have much themselves. Now, they’re the ones who need help.
