Dear Family and Friends,

As many of you know, my sister Kate and her husband Arthur are excited to soon welcome their second son, who will be a little brother to Keshava.

Many have asked about gifts for the baby. This time around, most of what the baby will need will be provided through hand-me-downs from big brother Kesh. However, we will be hiring a postpartum doula, which is necessary since Kate has relocated recently and has no immediate family in her area.

A doula will care for all of mom’s needs so that she can care for baby’s (and of course Kesh’s) needs. The doula prepares nutritious meals, provides counseling and emotional support, and helps mom with the physical healing process.

In lieu of gifts or a baby shower, I’m hoping you can lend a loving financial hand in any capacity possible to help with the cost of a postpartum doula. Every donation counts; the size does not matter. Let's support Kate as she begins the biggest transition of her life to date!
