After the most difficult eight months of our lives, our family finally has the chance to call somewhere home—just in time for Christmas. I’ve been approved for an apartment that is everything we’ve been praying for.

Now that we’ve cleared this major hurdle, we’re facing one last obstacle: the security deposit.

My full-time income currently covers only our motel room, so we need help gathering the funds to make this move possible.

This need is time-sensitive, but the benefits are immeasurable—and so is our gratitude to everyone who has carried our story with them.

I know these are hard times for many, but my kids and I have fought too hard, survived too long, not to try everything in my power to make this happen.

Our deposit is $1,400, and our $2,000 goal will also help with utility deposits and small moving costs. Since we are starting with nearly nothing, any funds that can be raised beyond our initial goal will go towards getting beds for the kids first.
