Hi, we are Everett Butchers,

A little back story: the owner, Steve, had to leave the shop in 2017 due to severe depression and returned to Everett's in 2019.

This year he married his lovely wife, Pauline, on the 4th of May 2024 and on the 25th of June 2024, Pauline's youngest son, Jay, took his own life.

We are hosting a sausage sizzle on the 13/09/2025 to raise funds but for those who are not able to attend to show support we have set this up for anyone who wants to show their support from afar.

We will be donating 100% of the proceeds to Mates4Mates who is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of depression and suicide. The group is completely run by volunteers that are 'everyday' people from the community, who have often either experienced loss of a loved one or have themselves suffered from depression. They hold regular meetings and events that are open to all community members to discuss mental health and spread the message though out the community that 'it is okay not to be okay'.
