Supporting Scott and Hayley’s Beautiful Family.

We are reaching out as friends of Scott and Hayleys, to wrap this family in love, strength, and support during a time no family should ever have to face. This message comes from us, not from Scott, because it’s important to protect his dignity, pride, and privacy as he navigates an unimaginable loss.

Our intention is simple: to stand beside this family, to support the children, and to help ease the weight they now carry.

Hayley’s Story

In July 2021, at just 33 years old, Hayley was diagnosed with Stage 4 bowel cancer. From the very beginning, she faced every challenge with extraordinary courage, warmth, humour, and grace. Her strength inspired everyone who knew her.

As the illness progressed, the cancer spread to her liver, lungs, hip, shoulder, neck, spine, and later to her brain. Through everything, Hayley’s focus never wavered. Her world was her three beautiful children:

Paige (15), Matthew (11), and Elizabeth (10).

Hayley fought with quiet bravery and unwavering love, always putting her children first. She was an incredible mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, and she will forever be at the heart of this family.

A Family Defined by Love and Strength

Scott has been a constant pillar throughout this journey, stepping away from his career to care for Hayley and to be fully present for their children. Even while facing relentless hardship, he continued to give back to others, raising money for charities close to their hearts and completing the Paris Marathon, a reflection of his resilience, loyalty, and devotion to his family.

This is a family who never complain, who always show up for others, and who carry themselves with pride, kindness, and unity.

Why We, Their Friends, Are Asking

As their friends, we want to help create some breathing space for Scott and the children space to grieve, to heal, and to focus on being together as a family.

This is not about charity.

This is about community.

This is about standing with a family who have always stood for others.

Any contributions will go towards supporting the children, easing day-to-day pressures, and helping secure their future as they adjust to life without their mum.
