A community member needs your help

My dear neighbor and beloved member of our community, Rathindra K. Sarkar,  has passed away after battling over 30 days with the Covid-19. He was admitted to the hospital on March 28 and was immediately put on a ventilator and had been until his passing on May 1. You may know him as the friendly server at Ayhan's Mediterranean Market or from your shopping trip at King Kullen in Manhasset.  His immediate family is also well known in our community such as his wife, Aparna, and brother, Jeet, who work at Stop and Shop and his brother Sam  who tends to your gas needs at Bott's Service Station. He also leaves behind two sons, Obi and Preetam. This has become a hardship for the family who had relied on him as their biggest financial supporter. The family has not been able to work this last month due to  this emotional and stressful time.  They need our strong community support to help them get through this life changing event. All funds will be directly received by his wife Aparna R. Sarkar as sole benficiary.
