A cuddle cot for Mullingar regional hospital

Hi there, we are TY students in Wilson’s hospital school hoping to provide Mullingar regional hospital with a cuddle cot. A cuddle cot is where grieving mothers can spend a short time with their baby after they have passed. This allows the mother and family to have a proper goodbye and allows time to grieve. Mullingar hospital currently has one cuddle cot, which unfortunately isn’t enough.

For our YSI campaign, we have decided to spread awareness on this topic which shockingly has never been covered. We hope to do it justice and leave a lasting impact on hospitals across the nation, starting with Mullingar. Our YSI campaign focuses on miscarriages and still births. We hope to spread awareness as 1 in 8 women are impacted by this in their lifetime and it is still not talked about enough.

As a class, we are holding different fundraising events, but unfortunately it isn’t enough so we need your help. Any contribution is greatly appreciated by us, the community and the people affected by this issue. Thank you for your time
