A Christmas of Kindness
0% complete
£985 raised of
93 donations
Hi, I'm Ted, I'm 9 and I would like to raise money for people who sleep on the streets. I'm trying to raise £200 to buy things for the homeless. I will buy things like sandwiches, a hot drink, and a warm blanket. Then I will go to London with my mum and deliver them.
I've been wanting to do this for 2 years now. Ever since I saw somebody sleeping on the streets in Covent Garden I have wanted to try help as many people as I can.
Below my mum will explain how we will use the money we raise.
Wishing you a Christmas of Kindness,
Ted
How we will use the funds:
Thank you for reading about Ted's Christmas of Kindness.
Any money we raise will go towards making or buying sandwiches (time dependent), and buying new, warm blankets, which Ted will wrap up to deliver as Christmas presents to homeless communities in London.
Because of Ted's age it's difficult for him to help at soup kitchens or at shelters, and he has been particularly passionate about giving things out himself, so that is what we'll do! I will be taking Ted to London on two occasions, during the day, to hand these presents out and we will update this page as much as we can on where we go and what we do.
Any leftover donations will be used to buy food items for Loveworks.
We know that this time of year can be hard to donate, so if you would like to contribute in another way, please pass on a Random Act of Kindness this Christmas, to someone who really needs it.
Thank you so much for reading
