Hello my name is Wendy Hansen. I am asking for help for my niece and her mother. Emma my niece is 9 and her mother is Alyssa. When Emma was only 3/4 she had to endure the heart break of losing her father. It was a tragic accident involving a house fire. But they didn’t just lose a father they lost the person that was their foundation. After his loss they lost their trailer and had to move into a small cabin in middle of nowhere. Rent is extremely high in the area we live. Alyssa now has been diagnosed with serious health conditions. 65% of heart is blocked and lungs are damaged. Emma mother is all she truly has. Her Santa letter this past Christmas asked for one thing. To help her mommy heart get better. She needed nothing else. There are many things I could tell you about them including two days before this past Christmas a limb broke during a high wind storm crushing the only vehicle they own. But this past year my prayers have said “ please lord protect my niece. Put it on me father. Let them stress the worry the load of life be on me. Give the loss the pain the hurt to me and let her just be a kid while she’s still little. “ sometimes I can’t speak her name without crying. Alyssa works always has but life is expensive especially in a tourist mountain town. I’m asking for just a few dollars towards a vehicle. Or share so people can help. I don’t ask people for things but I don’t have money to buy a used car I don’t know who to turn for help and their is no family for them to lean on. My niece needs to attend school and Alyssa needs to go to work and the doctor. Please if possible your few dollars could help the next person donate a few dollars and it would change their lives.

I am asking that someone or everyone that can please help me help my sister-in-law Alyssa and my amazing niece Emma. Two beautiful ladies who have had it harder than most but still smile and find a way to not let it drag them down. Their pipes are busted, pouring water, their car is gone, and they are in a place that just hurts my heart in such a way that I can barely see from crying to type this.

I thank everyone who took the time to read this. I know it was long. And somehow, I pray that enough people will help or the right person who is able to help reads this. Or somehow, someway, the magic of Christmas shows its beauty here at Christmas.
