A charity walk for Jack’s 10th birthday

On 15th May 2015, our lives changed forever. Our baby boy Jack Addison was born sleeping. We were totally and utterly devastated. This really was the darkest of times and to be honest we weren’t sure how were we going to navigate our way through. We were however surrounded and still are by our wonderful family and friends who probably will never know just how much they helped support us.

Gracie was only 2 years old at the time and she really was our shining light and was our reason to keep going. We were lucky enough to have our rainbow baby Charlie, a year later in May 2016.

As a way to remember and cherish Jack’s memory we have decided to plan a charity walk in honour of his 10th birthday. Throughout this whole journey we have strived to find light in the dark and look for those glimmers of positives.

There are two charities we would really like to raise funds for….

Hugs are local charity that support parents and their families through the bereavement of a baby. They were truly amazing and helped us so much in those early months and years of losing Jack. We would like to give this charity money to continue their work and for them to have the funds to create the special memory boxes to give to parents at their time of need.

We still have our memory box and will treasure it always.

The Goodwill Revolution is a community organisation that our best friends Louise and Simon have recently set up. Their mission is to help and support local people in the Black Country that are facing adversity. It could be a vulnerable family or individual that needs help and support. Working everyday with vulnerable children and families, this is really close to our hearts.

We would be so grateful if you could help us get to our target and donate what you can. It would also be great to see as many of you as possible joining us for the walk which is taking place on Saturday 31st May 2025
