we had help a short while ago to help towards creating a safe space in her garden from many kind hearts. I am still fitting the bill for this. But, it doesn’t matter bring forward a. Very important issue in terms of our ability to navigate the mobility issues. Whilst we were prescribed a wheelchair this is not fit for purpose for Laceys need. I have included and image from just this morning showing that her mainstream stroller is far from suitable but somehow more than the wheelchair. Times are tough and especially this side of Christmas. We have fought so many battles already to try and get the support we need including from family fund who have rejected my attempt this morning. Lacey will likely need to make use of a stroller for a few years to come even though she can walk she is a flighty one with no safety awareness. Her hyper mobility means that she tires easily and appears to experience muscle pains. She is on the upper levels of her height and weight percentiles and this means that even though I try my best to encourage muscle building and stamina her mental ability doesn’t always succeed to explore and carrying her even short distances is causing my own pains.
