A Caring Teacher Facing Overwhelming Challenges

Support Christine in Her Time of Need

Dear Friends and Community,

We come to you with heavy hearts and a sincere plea for support for an extraordinary woman who is facing a truly challenging time. Christine is not only a dedicated teacher but also a devoted mother to her 3-year-old son and 18-month-old daughter. She is expecting a new baby on November 8th, adding both joy and stress to her already difficult circumstances.

Just eight months ago, Christine’s beloved father was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The news was devastating, and after many ups and downs, he is now in hospice care with a prognosis of anywhere from several weeks to a few months. Christine is incredibly close to her father and has been a pillar of strength and support for him during this difficult journey.

Recently, Christine’s own health took a sudden turn for the worse. After visiting her father in the hospital, she suffered a severe injury, pinching her sciatic nerve. This has left her confined to a wheelchair and needing bed rest for recovery. Unfortunately, Christine does not have sufficient sick time to cover this period of rest, which she desperately needs to heal and be there for her family.

Throughout this incredibly challenging period, Christine has remained an inspiring beacon of positivity and strength. Despite her overflowing plate, she never gives up. She continues to give 100% to everyone in her life—her children, her husband, her father, and her students. Her unwavering dedication and optimism, even in the face of such adversity, are truly remarkable.

Christine shows up every day with a smile on her face and love in her heart, demonstrating a level of resilience that touches everyone around her. However, in this moment of crisis, she needs our help to get the rest she needs to recover from her injury and to spend precious time with her father and her young children before her father’s time runs out.
