Hi, my name is Paula and I'm hoping to raise money to buy a car.

For the past 5 years I've been raising my two granddaughters.

On the 24/5/2025 DCP placed my 2 young grandsons in my care aged 1yr and 6 yrs old.

We were also very surprised to be told that they have a new baby sister born on the 23/5/2025.

There beautiful baby sister has a condition called HIE due to lack of oxygen. She is a little fighter despite the very rough start to life and has been improving amazingly well to the point that she is almost ready to come home and be with her brothers and sisters.

With the help of DCP , family and friends we are getting together nearly everything these babys need , except for a car. My car had the catalytic converter stolen from it at the end of last year. Took me a few weeks to save enough to replace it. 3 weeks later the transmission blew up . This time there was no way I could afford to have my car fixed. So off it went to the scrap pile.

Now that I have 4 soon to be 5 children in my care saving for car seems now impossible.

All the children will clearly benefit from being driven to school etc but the main reason is our precious baby Marley will need a lot of medical help given her condition that will include many many doctor , hospital and specialist visits.
