My dog and I are homeless, and right now we are stuck living in my truck. It is not running right and it is not road legal, so I feel trapped in a situation that is already hard enough. I am trying to start a new job at the end of the month, but with winter coming soon, I need help fast to get into something safer and more stable.

Day to day, this has been very hard on both of us. It is hard to communicate with people and hard to stay positive when I cannot regularly shower, cook, or wash clothes. My dog cannot move freely, and we cannot even stretch out to sleep. We are running out of options, and I am doing everything I can to keep going. My dog is just getting older, and that scares me, even though he is not sick.

What the funds will help with first: the camper is my first and most urgent priority. I am trying to raise money for a camper, along with parking fees, title costs, and related setup expenses if I can find one. Having a camper would give us a safer place to stay and give me a safe place for my dog while I work once my new job starts. If someone has a camper they do not want and could donate instead, that would also help and would reduce how much money I need to borrow.

After that, I need to get my truck into a shop and start making payments toward the repair bill so I can work toward reliable transportation again.
