Catch Adani Out With a Camera!
Donation protected
Urgent.
You can help catch Adani out right now!
The Wangan and Jagalingou - Standing Our Ground warriors of Waddananggu have bravely held their ground inside the coal mine lease for over two years now!
I have been living and working as support crew here since the ceremony began, and have consistently documented Waddananggu through photography to the best of my ability.
I do photos and videos for media and social media just using a mobile phone.
Unbelievably we are setting a precedent by living right here inside the mining lease, but still don’t have a proper camera!
What an unusual situation - We are watching Adani breaking their management conditions in front of us, can see him bulldozing birthing trees and stone artefact sites, can see the mine tapping into the water table.
We are living with plants and animals close to extinction, and trying to put out high quality media! It’s incredibly frustrating.
I got a loan over a year ago to get this iPhone for use as a camera, and it is good but very limited, especially when it comes to the serious zoom that is required.
It is vital that we properly document and expose the horrific destruction, the strength of W and J Cultural Custodians and all the rare and amazing cultural sites and nature that is all around us.
How can people help protect something that they don’t know exists!?
What a tragedy for things to be destroyed before we even know about them, before we can care for and protect them.
How wonderful it would be to share the videos of messages and stories and songs of Cultural Custodians with the world in the high definition and true- to life light that they and their most important of all messages deserve.

Something this important shouldn’t be limited by a camera.
If many of our allies contribute just a few dollars each, we could have the camera setup in a few days!
Will you contribute and share this to help get us over the line?

Want to see clearer pictures of these beauties? Let’s get a good camera! )
After much consultation, we have decided that the best mid range camera for the job is a Sony A7 mark 3 ( $2499) , with Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 Series OSS Mirrorless zoom Lens ( also $2499 new) a wide angle Sony FE 16-35mm f/4 PZ G Lens ($1549 new) Plus a basic gimbal and tripod.
If all of our friends and allies contribute a few dollars each and share the fundraiser, we should be able to raise the remaining $3500 for the camera set up by the end of the weekend ☮️
Thanks!
