A CALL to Uplift ASATU HALL Our Beloved Midwife.

Kongo SQ West Kinship Society [KSQwest] harvests the natural resources of its Community at large, catalyzing its well-being. A call to action propelled its launch in 2005, and today specializes in delivering distinct services of impact while facilitating Relief campaign advancement and Social Entrepreneurship; We value the sustenance of Community stakeholders, and remain dedicated to ensuring their wellness and recovery.

  • “When we do not grieve we stay in an unhealthy place and lose Who We Are.” *

This campaign serves to support a Community treasure, our very own, Mama Asatu Musunama Hall. She mourns the loss of a close sibling, her brother James Douglas Hall Jr. aka “Papi”, departing from the earth, on May 15, 2023. [love &light] Sentiments shared in sadness, yet with great Love and admiration for her Big Brother, the two were often thought of as twins. He is remembered as a loving Husband for over 25 years, a Father of 3, highly respected and sorely missed by his Colleagues and Community. Our hearts go out to the whole Hall Family during this difficult time.

  • "It is very important to cry to walk in nature and express our grief so we can feel safe and sane once again.” *

As a Commune+Unity we understand the devastating impact of the loss of a Family member; Grief can be life-altering, and challenging to reconcile with.
Kongo SQ West is primed and ready to stand in the balance for
Mama Asatu and her Son. We call upon the presence of support from our beloved Commune+Unity to make this possible. Here’s how you can support:

Mama Asatu’s immediate needs assessment with estimated costs:

  • $7,000 to cover 2 months of rent, (incl. utilities) bills + nominal business fees
  • $2,600 for multiple round-trip travel and out-of-town funerary arrangements
  • $1,200 groceries and provisions for son and herself for 3 months
  • 4 Gift Cards for Self-care Healing services
*All Proceeds will be procured and processed to Her account directly.

“...Grieving is a so cleansing way to reclaim and recover our Spirit.”*

We imagine that this swift call to action will successfully empower this campaign to the extraordinary. Please share this #goodGIVE with Fellow Colleagues, Community Leaders, and all hearts aligned.

Our deepest Gratitude to you Family, for your Love Spirit, and gracious offerings of support.

In shared kinship works,
Kongo SQ West Kinship Society
“...of good works and prosperity.”
