I am Shahad, 24 years old, living in Gaza, trapped in the middle of war. Our lives changed overnight, and survival has become a daily challenge. The lack of food, water, and medicine makes life extremely difficult and unbearable, but hope still beats in our hearts. My family used to live a normal life; we went to work, and the children went to school. Our home, which we built over the years, collapsed in a single moment due to the bombing.
I had previously created an account on GoFundMe to manage a fundraising campaign, but unfortunately, my account was recently deactivated, and all the funds raised were returned to the donors.
Now, I am launching this campaign to ask for your help in these difficult times. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a big difference. The funds raised will be allocated to securing essential needs such as food, medicine, and protective supplies for me, my family, and the displaced children currently with us. The campaign also aims to raise funds to cover evacuation and travel costs if the Rafah border crossing opens. The opening of the crossing might be soon and for a limited time, and we must be ready to move immediately. Your support will enable us to do that. Contribute now to secure a chance to escape danger and move away from this continuous fear.
We cannot survive alone, but with your support, we can face this pain and endure despite all the hardships. Contribute today and be part of the hope we desperately need. Your urgent support can save lives and help cover the costs of food, travel, and accommodation as soon as the crossing opens. It is our only hope until we reach safety.
