Hello everyone,

I want to share the story of a wonderful family who could really use our help right now. Meet Jaxson, a brave child, and his dedicated mother.

**Jaxson's Journey:**

Until July 2023, Jaxson was a vibrant, independent boy. However, he was then diagnosed with Adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD), a rare genetic condition that has no cure. This disease has significantly impacted his life, leaving him with no mobility and vision loss.

Jaxson mother, who emigrated from Thailand, never knew her family carried this genetic disease. She has faced her own battles, including escaping a violent domestic situation, which left her and Jaxson homeless for months until they found a new home.

**Current Challenges:**

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) recently altered its support, causing Mother to lose the rental car she depended on for Jaxson's medical appointments, school visits, and simple outings that bring joy to his life.

**Why We Need Your Help:**

Without transportation, Jaxson is missing out on life's small pleasures like hearing his friends at school, the sounds of laughter at a park, or splashing in a pool. A car would not only provide mobility but also a semblance of normalcy and independence.

**Our Goal:**

We're fundraising to purchase a car suitable for Jaxson's needs, ensuring mother can continue to care for him while providing a means to explore the world outside their home again.
