My name is Alieu Fatty, and I come from Kembujeh, a small village nestled in the heart of The Gambia—fondly known as the Smiling Coast of Africa. Raised in a traditional community where culture and heritage are deeply rooted in daily life, I completed my entire education—from primary through secondary school—right here in Kembujeh.

Today, I carry a burning passion: to ensure every child in my village has the chance to learn, grow, and dream without limits.

Why This Project Matters Deeply to Me

Education transformed my life. It gave me the ability to read, write, communicate with confidence, and build a meaningful career. Without it, I would not be the person I am today. Sadly, for many children in my village, The Gambia, this life-changing gift is simply out of reach.

In Kembujeh, many families cannot afford to send their children to school. I've spoken to teachers who shared heartbreaking stories—classrooms without enough pencils, books, or even writing paper. Children discouraged by poverty, dropping out long before they’ve had a real chance. These are not just numbers or statistics. These are our children, our future doctors, teachers, and leaders—losing hope far too soon.

And that breaks my heart.

But instead of turning a blind eye, I’ve chosen to act. I have chosen to make a difference to my community by raising funds.
