Good day all, and thank you so much for sharing your valuable time.
We come to you now because we are in a bad way financially. We are going to run out of money in the next 5 to 6 months. The good news is that with your help, we will not only NOT run out of money, but we will also be in a position to be more successful than ever!
This is Sue, and I write you on behalf of myself, my husband Eric, and my 10-year-old son, Andrew.
Last Year
As some of you know, I left an abusive job situation suddenly in March of 2020. For over 5 years, I suffered from chronic stress because of my work situation. Nonetheless, I put my head down and kept my mouth shut in the unhealthy work environment rife with shouting and name-calling, false accusations and general employee mistreatment until my sanity stepped in and I left.
Also last year, Eric was unable to work for about 9 months. He is diabetic, and last winter/spring year he developed a serious infection which, despite antibiotics and other aggressive protocols, has not disappeared leaving us concerned that it might require surgery.
Now
After leaving my job and trying different things for a few months in the unique world created by the pandemic, I decided to move forward with my new business. I have been working on my business full time (and then some) since last June, and it is currently well-positioned to be significantly successful within the next 12 months. Unfortunately the nature of the business is that it takes time to generate profit.
We won't get there with our current financial situation.
This is a business that I'm building not only for Eric's and my future, but also for Andrew to take over one day if he so chooses. In fact, although they don't fully know it yet, this business will also eventually benefit our siblings and parents.
I won't go into all of the details about the business here, but I'm more than happy to discuss with anyone who is interested.
With Your Help
We are on track to run out of money in the not-too-distant future. We are very confident in the unique and solid opportunity that my business has to be significantly profitable within a year, so we humbly come to you for short-term assistance so that we can build a better future.
It has been difficult to make the decision to go the GoFundMe route, and it hurts my soul to have to ask for it now. We've explored every other available option and have been disappointed at every turn. Eric had even looked into the possibility of withdrawing his contributions from the company pension plan which could only be done by resigning, but unfortunately he had missed the age deadline and his pension was locked.
Any and all help is gratefully accepted even if that help is to simply pass this on to someone else. We are forever grateful for any assistance that you can provide and are beyond happy to repay your kindness in any way that we can.
