A Birthday Wish for Reed's Wheels
Donation protected
Reed's 25th birthday is coming up on June 5th. I thought I would reach out to loved ones to give a little recap on the last year I have had with him and the growth I have seen with my own eyes.
Reed got an amazing opportunity to become an electrician. He did a program for 6 weeks where he would not miss one single day. He has now moved on to working 7 days a week most of the time at a huge project here in Fort Wayne. His car that he still holds a loan on recently broke down. Why we don’t have “I was 19 and dumb” forgiveness program is beyond me Reed holds a lot of responsibility and never misses a beat in making sure both of us are taken care of. I do not know where I would be without him. He constantly puts everyone before himself and is the worst at asking for help. If you know Reed, you’d know he’s gone through a lot in life. With just my small time of knowing him, he has grown into someone I think we should all be proud of.
My point in making this is Reed currently is without a car, and despite his best efforts in saving for one, adulting has made that very difficult. I wanted to see if loved ones wanted to help get him started with a savings so that he can get a vehicle. He’d hate that I’m reaching out and asking, but I know he would be so very grateful. He’s just trying to get a beater work truck to get him from point A to B. Anything helps! Instead of buying him a card, that $5 could help start his savings to get him back on the road! This will be a surprise I will show him on his day:)
