Hi everyone, my name is Amanda Leslie. I’m raising funds to cover the funeral and memorial expenses for my niece, Lakeia Nashay Smith, affectionately known as LeLe to all who loved her. I’ve set up this GoFundMe with the permission of Lakeia’s mother, my sister, Ruth Fesler Butler, and her father, RJ Smith. All proceeds will be used to support the family with funeral expenses and any memorial arrangements that Lakeia may have chosen.

As many of you know, LeLe passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the age of 30. She is no longer suffering and has found peace in Heaven, reunited with her beloved Grandma Mary and Nana Linda.

LeLe was a trustworthy, dependable, honest, and loving person. If you needed her, she was always there, with a warm smile and a helping hand. She expressed her love openly and generously, spreading warmth and positivity wherever she went.

Anyone who knew LeLe knows that she would never want attention or a fundraiser for herself. Unfortunately, her family is currently in need of additional support.
