I'm 37, and I'm going to be a grandma.

Baby is due January 1st, in South Africa.

My family has invited me to photograph the birth and assist with newborn care. (I'm a photographer / infant caregiver.) 

I'd like to raise $1800 by December 20th, to cover airfare and travel costs - for a two week visit.

This trip is also about "coming full circle." I lived in South Africa from age 18-24. Married there. Got pregnant there. I feel it's time to revisit those roots, and strengthen family connections.
