A A Mother’s Cry for Help – For My Child and Me

Dear friends, kind hearts, and compassionate souls,

I never imagined I would be writing something like this. My heart is heavy as I reach out today not for myself, but for my precious child.

Just a short time ago, we were a family of three. Then everything changed. My husband the father of my child left us for another woman, abandoning his responsibilities and walking away from his own child as if she never existed. He has cut all support, emotionally and financially. Since then, it’s been just me and my daughter trying to survive, trying to stay strong, trying to hold on.

The stress of abandonment has deeply affected my daughter. She has been experiencing severe emotional trauma unable to focus in school, and recently, she collapsed and fainted due to the overwhelming stress. Doctors have advised that she cannot be left alone, which means I am unable to work outside the home. I want nothing more than to provide a safe, stable life for her, but right now, I am struggling to do that on my own.

I’ve been desperately searching for a remote job so I can be here for her, but those opportunities are few and far between, and our situation grows more urgent by the day. We have no family here in Canada. It’s just the two of us. I’ve reached out for help before, but I’ve received very little. I pray every day for a miracle, for someone to hear our cry, to see our pain.

That’s why I’ve created this GoFundMe. I am humbly asking as a mother doing her best to be both mother and father for your help. Anything you can give will go directly towards our survival: rent, food, medical support, and hopefully, helping me get on my feet again with a work-from-home opportunity.
