Emma was born with no thumbs. The plan right now for Emma is to monitor her blood levels 4 times a year. she will eventually need a bone marrow biopsy but they do not want to do that until she's a bit older since she will need to be put under anesthesia to have it done. They said by the time she is 2 or 3 they will do this. The doctors also told them that they will be looking for a bone marrow match on the registry immediately just to get a sense of what's out there for Emma. There’s still a lot of research that needs to be done and we are hoping with the money that is raised we can help with that to make sure that Emma has a happy and healthy life like every child deserves. We ask that you please go to a Hope for Emma Janes Facebook page and like it and follow her journey. Also if you can please donate everyone knows how competitive Mackenzie is she will not let you down, no amount is to small. If you can’t donate pleases share this link.
