[Westlake/ Dexter Art Restorations]
For the past several years, I’ve created public art throughout my neighborhood—murals, electrical box paintings, and small visual anchors that bring color, identity, and joy to the community.
This past fall and winter, a single individual repeatedly vandalized and destroyed five of my murals and damaged multiple electrical box artworks. It was disheartening, expensive, and emotionally draining to keep repairing work that was intentionally targeted.
That individual has since moved away, which finally gives me the chance to restore everything properly and bring the artwork back to the community the way it was meant to be seen.
I’m launching this GoFundMe to cover the cost of materials and the time required to repaint:
- 5 full wall murals
- 4–5 electrical box artworks
- Protective coatings to prevent future damage
- Weather buffer days and replacement materials
This project is about more than paint—it’s about reclaiming shared space, reducing graffiti, and giving the neighborhood back its color and character.
Any support helps me rebuild what was lost and continue creating art that belongs to everyone.
