Zimbabwe Food Mission & Community Outreach programs is fundraising to supply nutritious food parcels and when funds allow we purchase essential items like buckets for collecting water.
We are currently working on helping families in the community to grow potatoes & other veggies in bags and expand the community veggie gardens.
Our recipients are the Aged, Orphans, Single mothers, Widows, Teen mothers, Child headed families, who are all currently facing starvation.
With high unemployment and many living hand to mouth communities are suffering. Many households are informal traders, vendors or menial labour. Our Food mission during Covid 19 will assist the most vulnerable people with food parcels to help alleviate starvation.
Pictured are some of the people we have helped in 2020 in Binga & Rusape

Zimbabwe faces the overwhelming challenges of drought, economic hardship and now Covid 19.
The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) has declared that:
● Over 6 million Zimbabweans require urgent food aid
● Fewer than 20% of children between 6-23 months receive a minimally adequate diet
● 1 in 4 children, under 5 are stunted and at risk of impaired physical and cognitive growth
ZFM is run by volunteers. All donations go towards our food parcels, essential items and community projects to assist with creating a sustainable future for the most needy.
