We're Taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks for Mental Health – Please Support Us!
Hi everyone,
Myself, Neil Greenwood and a group of lads are taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge to raise vital funds for a local mental health organisation close to our hearts – Cleaner and Dryer (CAD).
CAD was founded in memory of Chris Drysdale, a much-loved father who tragically took his own life due to depression. His passing inspired a movement to support others facing similar struggles.
I have been volunteering at CAD Eccles as a Peer Mentor, Coach, and Fitness Instructor for over 18 months – and have seen first-hand the positive change this group is making in people’s lives.
Why CAD?
CAD helps individuals overcome challenges including:
Mental Health Issues
Addictions & Alcoholism
Loneliness
Abuse
Anxiety
CAD offers free weekly fitness sessions and group therapy, providing a safe, welcoming space where people can improve their mental health and build a sense of community.
Our Mission
CAD is committed to promoting mental wellness and connection through both physical and social activities. We aim to empower men and women of all ages, helping them thrive and regain control of their lives.
We're climbing these three peaks not just for the challenge, but to raise awareness and funds for a cause that’s truly transforming lives in our community.
Please consider donating – every contribution, no matter how small, goes directly towards helping people in crisis find hope, healing, and strength.
❤️ Thank you from all the CAD family – your support means the world.
