Wicomico First Alert's Upgrade

In a few months Wicomico County will convert their current radio system to a brand new 'Phase II' radio system. This will make most scanners OBSOLETE. This includes the scanners we use at Wicomico First Alert. Wicomico First Alert will become OBSOLETE! We must remain operational! We are now trying to raise $1,500 for 4 brand new scanners at a cost of $375 each.

The money raised by this campaign will be used to purchase brand new scanners that will be used to monitor Wicomico County public safety radio transmissions, therefore making Wicomico First Alert able to do what we do best!
We know we are asking a lot, but we wish to raise the money as soon as possible so we can have the new scanner programmed and have it ready to go when the switch happens.
Supporting this campaign  will mean that Wicomico First Alert gets to continue operating; we get to continue find missing persons, find wanted fugitives, and alert the public to fires, traffic accidents, shootings, stabbings, and a variety of other incidents.

No amount of money is too big or too small to donate to our campaign! We would be forever grateful. We are all volunteers, and we make no money from doing this. If you participate you'd be a big reason why everyone knows what's happening.

Thank you, and we sincerely hope you'll participate.

We are now trying to raise $1,500. Each brand new scanner costs $375, and we are trying to buy four of them.
