WEST HILL FOOD BANK TORONTO ONTARIO
WE DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP
WE OVER EXTENDED OURSELVES OVER THE CHIRSTMAS PERIOD HELPING THE MOST VULNERABLE IN OUR SOCIETY, AND BECAUSE OF THAT WE TEMPORARILY FELL BEHIND IN OUR RENT AND FACE EVICTION .ANY AMOUNT YOU ARE ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE WILL HELP KEEP THE FOOD BANK DOORS OPEN.
We are the West Hill Community Support Program, a grassroots organization based in Scarborough, Ontario, dedicated to tackling the challenges of food insecurity, poverty, and homelessness. Operating from two key locations—West Hill/Galloway Food Bank (2-4234 Lawrence Ave East)
We serve over 1,450 individuals weekly, including seniors, families, newcomers, Indigenous youth, and shelter residents.
Our community is at the heart of Toronto’s poverty crisis, with over 11 shelters and 9 social housing complexes within our service area. Identified as the Child Poverty Capital of Canada (CBC, 2022), West Hill faces widespread issues of low income, youth violence, drug abuse, and homelessness.
Despite these challenges, we provide hope and essential resources through our four core programs:
Community Food Bank
Seniors Meal Program
School Feeding Program
Shelter Hamper Program
We urgently need your support to sustain our efforts. Rising operational costs, including rent, threaten our ability to continue serving those in need. Your donation will help us keep our doors open, provide critical food supplies, and ensure our doors are open to everyone.
Together, we can make a difference. Thank you!
