We have some exciting, BIG news! We are adopting!!

For those of you who don’t know our family personally, we are so thankful that you are here to learn more about our story!

We are Matt and Courtney; we have been married for over 6 years and have a beautiful son, Titus. As many of you know, for the past three years we've been walking through the painful journey of secondary infertility. In that time, we've tried countless avenues, including surgery, medication, diets, and alternative treatments. We also underwent three rounds of IUI and two rounds of IVF, both of which sadly ended in miscarriages last year. These years have tested our faith and stretched us emotionally and financially, but we truly wouldn't change our story and all that the Lord has taught us in this season. There has been so much unexpected beauty woven through the pain—moments where we truly felt God's hand guiding us, affirming this path in ways we never imagined.

Through much prayer and reflection this year, God has gently opened our hearts to the beautiful calling of adoption. We now see how every step of our journey, even the most painful, has prepared us for this incredible new chapter. After all, through Christ's sacrifice, we all were adopted into His Kingdom—what a profound example we now get to live out by growing our family through adoption. We've been absolutely blown away by how God has already shown up in the least expected ways, confirming this path with such clarity. We are ready to grow our family, and we need your help to make that happen!

This dream, while boundless in love, comes with significant financial steps. We are prayerfully seeking help to cover the many costs associated with adoption, from agency fees to legal processes. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to bringing our child home and truly makes you a part of our growing family's story. It's more than a donation; it's an investment in a child's future.

We've already started our journey, and God led us to an amazing agency: New Life! It's a non-profit, Christian adoption agency in Houston, Texas. We've met with them, completed our screening process, and been accepted into their family. Now we're diligently working through paperwork, background checks, building our adoption book, and getting ready for our home study.

We were surprised to learn that adoption-related costs are expected to be between $25,000 and $50,000—and this is on the less expensive side! This cost covers expenses such as the home study, agency fees, paperwork, legal fees, placement fees, care for the birth mother, travel, and background checks/CPR certifications.

After our own contributions, we've set our goal to raise $20,000, which will go directly towards our adoption process—if you feel led to support us, please consider giving $100, $200, or even $500 to help us take this step of faith.

Here are some of the initial adoption costs:

• Application/Pre-Adoptive Conference Fee: $175.00

• Homestudy: $5,000.00

• Upon approval, monthly payments of $1,000.00 (Max amount $24,000)

• Lawyer/Finalizing Fee: $2,100

We know that so many prayers from so many people have brought us to this point in our journey to building our family. We truly have felt each one and wouldn't be where we are today without our village. We've created a special puzzle, each piece representing a cherished member of our 'village.' As a thank you, for each person who is able to financially give, your name will be lovingly written on a puzzle piece to be placed in our little one's room—a constant reminder of the incredible community that helped bring them home.

Even if you're unable to give at this time, we would greatly appreciate your prayers. Please pray for smooth processes, for the health and well-being of our future child, and for the birth mother throughout this journey. We are so grateful to have a strong support system and have been overwhelmed by the love we've received so far.

As we move forward in this new chapter, we have hope that we will soon have another little one to love and make Titus a big brother! We dream of the laughter that will fill our home and of watching Titus embrace his role as a loving big brother.
