Eswatini Children's Village Needs Water

Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit Saving Orphans Through Healthcare and Outreach, to provide water for the new children's village any donation small or large will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause.

In early September 2022 a group of four Walla Walla University students traveled to the remote village of Manzini, Eswatini, accompanied by two WWU employees.

The purpose of the trip was to complete preliminary assessments of a new humanitarian project site for SOHO on a 1083-acre mountain farm's soon-to-be children's safe homes. For the past two years, the farm has been growing vegetables to feed several hundred orphans.

While the end goal of the project is to include a women’s rescue center and a children's village orphanage, right now the group is focused on creating basic infrastructure such as a wastewater treatment plan.

Before being able to finalize this design the engineering students need to know how much water will be used / available.

That is where your donation of any amount can help provide a company to come out and drill a water well, install a submersible pump, and hook up a solar and battery system to run the pump for the children's village.
