WEUSI FAMILY VILLAGE: Our Land, Our Legacy, Our Line of Defense

WEUSI means “Black” in Swahili—and we wear that with pride.

It’s more than a word. It’s a mission. A movement. A line in the sand.

We’re no longer waiting for inclusion in systems that exclude us.

We’re building our own.

THE VISION

The WEUSI Family Village will be the first sovereign stronghold of its kind—a sacred, protected space for Black and Brown families to:

✅ Train our youth in self-defense, strategy, and legacy building

✅ Relearn and teach our true history, untouched by colonizers

✅ Build a private Community response team trained to infiltrate systems of oppression with skill, intellect, and power

✅ Create a sacred, rural village on Black-owned land where our people can heal, learn, train, and unify

✅ Send strong leaders to represent us in trials, hearings, and political movements where we are misrepresented—or not represented at all

This is not fantasy. This is what freedom looks like when we fund it ourselves.

WHY THIS IS NEEDED NOW

We are the culture. The labor. The fire. The truth.

But we remain the least protected, the least funded, and the least represented in this country we built.
