COVID-19 CRISIS

On March 11, the World Health Organization declared the outbreak of COVID-19 a global pandemic, reaching more than 118 countries and affecting hundreds of thousands of people. In response, communities across the globe are coming together by fundraising for coronavirus affected regions to provide urgent aid and support. Each of us can do our part against the ongoing health emergency caused by the COVID-19 virus. 


WCCA and WCCSA are calling our members and all the friends to please help us in supporting our Grand River Hospital for its needs in fighting this pandemic and keeping our community safe and healthy!


The fund we are raising is to help the Grand River Hospital Foundation to purchase the much needed disposable protective masks, gowns, eyewear and gloves for our doctors, nurses and medical staff members.


WCCA is an Ontario registered not-for-profit organization. WCCSA is also a volunteer based organization joined by professors and scholars from universities in Waterloo region. 

Every penny we raise will be donated to GRH Foundation. The people working behind this campaign are all volunteers from WCCA committee, WCCSA and their members.
