The children may have all gone back to school, but we spoke to the parents (and children!) and know the positive impact that the meal delivery was having for these families. We also know that school holidays can be exceptionally long if you're worrying about feeding your children.
And so the story continues....
Viva Kitchen, with the support of CRUFC will be continuing to deliver freshly prepared, nutritious meals to the children who need them most during the school holidays. We hope to roll this scheme out to new cooking hubs around the city to allow us to help even more children by the summer. Working alongside CRUFC Sports Foundation, we are aiming to provide educational and sporting events for the children who receive the meals.
We know we can't achieve any of this without your kind donations and support. We have shopping accounts now set up at various stores and this way can order exactly what we need to prepare the meals hence the Go Fund Me Page being circulated again but our ingredients drops will still be open if you would rather buy something from our shopping lists (please just contact us and we can advise as to our needs for the coming holiday period)
