UMN Pediatrics and Med-Peds Reach Out and Read MN

In honor of the graduating Pediatrics and Med-Peds Residents, we ask you to join us in donating to a cause near and dear to our hearts. We have chosen to support a long standing advocate in the pediatrics world, Reach Out and Read Minnesota. Reach Out and Read gives young children a foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together. In light of the much needed changes occurring in our community today, we raise these funds with the intent of actively providing clinics with books focusing on protagonists from the Black, Indigenous, and communities of color with themes of inclusion, justice, and community. With your help, we can positively impact children’s healthy language and community development.
