Family Help for the Truehills

The Truehill family lost their beloved father/grandfather/uncle, Louis "Joey" Truehill.

Joey was tragically killed on Monday, October 3, 2022, making him the 100th murder victim in Oakland. It is all too much to handle for the family as they process the loss. What makes it even more difficult is that Joey was doing well after years of struggle and hardship, having just celebrated his 60th birthday with family and friends. He was reconnecting with loved ones and as a lifelong member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in West Oakland, he was a man of faith who helped his community as he could.

The family is in need of support at this time. Anything will help. All gifts are tax-deductible as a local non-profit organization is processing the donations and will use 100% of the donations to help the family, especially the grandchildren.
