Help The Ukrainian People-Departing April 5, 2022

You love your home, and you love your family, so do I; but at this very moment, tens of thousands of Ukrainians are having their homes indiscriminately bombed and destroyed, cities after cities are decimated, totally defenseless civilians are blown to pieces, men, women and children are buried under the rubbles, innocent citizens waiting in line for bread are senselessly killed, a sovereign nation is unjustly torn apart in a brutal attempt by a Russian tyrant to concur more territory.

 

The Ukrainian people have suffered tremendously, and millions have become refugees flooding into Poland and neighboring countries. The remaining Ukrainians are brave and are learning civil defenses taking up arms in preparation for an epic war with a much bigger, stronger and much better equipped but ruthless Russia.

 

The courageous 5’7” former actor and comedian Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been valiantly defending his country and his fellow citizens.  President Zelenskyy knows that he is the number one target of the Russian military apparatus, and yet he is staying and fighting alongside with his countrymen in the middle of a war zone despite being offered safe heaven by a western government. The brave Zelenskyy passionately pleaded for the world’s help to counter such large-scale carnage and brutal attacks by the Russian Federation, but the help received so far is not enough.

 

In an individual effort to assist the Ukrainian people, I’ve booked a flight to Poland and have reserved a cargo van at the Warsaw airport. I intend to assess the situation near the Ukrainian border, find out what is needed, then procure the necessary supplies in Poland, or drive to Germany to get the supplies if the supplies run short in Poland, and bring the supplies to where they are needed.

 

My name is Tony Lam; I’m a real estate broker with Keller Williams Signature Realty (KWSR) in the City of Industry in the United States of America. I’m funding this relief effort personally, and I want to put boots on the ground to offer whatever tangible assistance the Ukrainian people might need. I realize there is not much that one person can do in light of the huge scale of devastation and human suffering; however, if I were in the same situation as the people in Ukraine, I would certainly appreciate as much assistance that I could get if my home was bombed, my cities were destroyed, my love ones or my countrymen were killed, and my country was to be invaded and bombed to ashes unjustly by forced.

 

A courageous agent Victor Huang from KWSR has volunteered to join me in this effort to do whatever that we can to help the Ukrainian people. I will cover agent Victor’s plane ticket, hotels, meals and his expenses; I’ll pay for the rental vehicle and all expenses, including the supplies to the Ukrainian people. Every dollar raised together with my own funds will go directly into this relief effort. I invite you to join me in this individual effort, in solidity with other like-minded individuals around the world, to aid this unjustly and brutally attacked nation and the people of Ukraine.

Give only when you are genuinely compelled and give whatever is commensurate to your conviction. Victor and I are scheduled to return home on April 19, 2022. Thank you on behalf of Freedom and the Ukrainian people.
