Tax deductible
Things certainly are very different this year for many, and The Chase Home For Children in Portsmouth is no exception.
The Chase Home For Children has been serving the needs of at-risk youth and families in New Hampshire since 1877. Their needs as an agency are even greater this year, as the pandemic has increased the cost of their services across nearly every program. To put this into perspective, the State of NH pays The Chase Home $188.54 per child per day for residential room and board - this is a shortfall of more than $28,000 per kid annually.
Your Donation Helps Support These Programs:
1) Residential Services Offers youth a place to live, while helping them develop the skills they need to experience stability across multiple areas of their lives.
2) Home-Based Services Support youth transitioning from the Residential Program to reunify with their families, or works to preserve the family and prevent residential placement.
3) Seacoast Community Diversion Diverts youth from re-offending and entering the Juvenile Justice System and addresses underlying challenges with therapeutic services.
4) Independent Living Assists youth in developing the skills necessary to successfully transition from living at Chase Home into independent living.
Any donation will help make an impact. Please consider donating today.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to the children and families served by The Chase Home!
