Looking to help out Tim, Sarah, Tegan and Tenley as they prepare and embark on Tegan needing two big brain surgeries following her stroke in October.  

As you may know Tegan was diagnosed with Moya Moya Syndrome after she endured a stroke and some seizures at the end of October. After having to stay in hospital in Vancouver for about 6 weeks, she luckily got to go home for Christmas. However since then, Sarah and Tim have learned and are absorbing that she will require two brain surgeries. 

Tegan will be getting an angiogram and MRI at Children’s the week of Jan 19th which will then give the doctors the info they require to book the first surgery. That surgery will be approx 6 hours and could see Tegan in ICU for up to 3 weeks. A later surgery would then also be booked. 

Sarah has been overwhelmed and wanting to absorb all this, but when she is ready she can provide more info and dates moving forward. 

For now, our goal is to see them breathe a bit easier.

We are not looking to raise a mass amount but a decent amount to help with meals, housecleaning, gas etc as Tim and Tenley will need to travel back and forth from Kelowna to Vancouver while Sarah remains with Tegan. 

Full transparency is that Sarah felt they should not perhaps have a go fund me made as they did back when Tegan had cancer; I tend to feel like they cannot control these events and one preceding this does not mean we cannot come together to help them again. 

As mentioned, more info and dates will be coming as we learn it. In the meantime if you are able to provide something great, if not a text of support, a call, a funny meme… anything is amazing!
