We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating vibrant, safe, and inclusive experiences for queer Latina women and the entire LGBTQ+ community in the DC region. While we take pride in our history of monthly events, we have reached a turning point. Relying on outside venues means we are often subject to rising rental costs, limited availability, and environments that don't always align with our mission of radical inclusion. To truly serve our community, we need a home of our own. A Veteran & Queer Latina-Led Mission Our leadership is rooted in service. As the only veteran-owned and queer Latina-led nonprofit of its kind in the DMV, we understand the importance of stability and the power of a "second home." We aren't just looking for four walls and a roof; we are building a sanctuary where: • Identity is Celebrated: A primary hub for queer Latina women that remains a welcoming home for the entire community, no matter how you identify. • Women’s Sports Have a Home: A dedicated space to gather, cheer, and watch women’s sports—filling a massive gap in the DC social scene. • Consistency is Guaranteed: No more wondering if a venue will host us; we will have the keys to our own future and the ability to host monthly events, workshops, and resources. Why We Need Your Help In today’s climate, having a safe, permanent physical space is more critical than ever. However, securing a commercial space in the DC area is a massive financial undertaking. Building Out the Space: Creating a professional, accessible, and high-quality interior (including the tech to broadcast women's sports!). 3.
