Hi, my name is Emily, and I’m fundraising £5,500 to take part in a 4-week school expedition to Tanzania with Camp International.

This is an incredible opportunity where I’ll be working alongside local communities to help build schools, clean water systems, toilets, and other essential facilities that many of us often take for granted.

This trip isn’t just about travelling — it’s about contributing to meaningful, long-term change. The projects I’ll be supporting and helping to build are designed to improve daily life. We will create learning environments for children by building desks so they don’t have to learn on the floor, provide opportunities for all and build market places for communities to generate income, giving the community independence for years to come.

This experience will also help me gain confidence, experience new cultures and develop teamwork and leadership skills.

To help reach my goal, I’m also making and selling handmade pencil cases (you can see them in photos above), with all proceeds going directly toward my fundraising and every bit of support helps bring me one step closer to making a real difference.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and for considering supporting my journey. Any donation — big or small — truly means the world to me.
