Reentry Welcome Home Kits

Tax deductible
Trauma Informed Peer Led Reentry (TIPLR) is a unique program that combines the power of lived experience and trauma-informed coaching to help returning citizens navigate the challenges of reentry.

A major need for returning citizens is a Welcome Home Kit that includes basic clothing and hygiene needs.

Often, parolees are released from incarceration wearing prison-issued clothing and carrying their remaining personal items in a clear plastic trash bag. Though some are fortunate enough to have a strong support system willing to provide basic needs (deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste, socks and underwear, hygiene products, etc.), many return to a new community with nothing but the few items in their trash bag.

Help TIPLR to ensure that returning citizens begin their reentry journey with dignity. Access to these basic items will create a foundation of success at the start of their reentry process. TIPLR strives to provide Welcome Home Kits for returning citizens!
