We are the residents of Tidbury Green, and our village is under threat.

Multiple developers have set their sights on the Green Belt surrounding our community, with proposals now totaling around 1,700 homes on the land south of Norton Lane and beyond. This wave of development would more than Triple the size of our village, urbanise protected Green Belt, and permanently change the rural way of life we all cherish.

We are not anti-housing. We understand the need for homes. But they must be the right homes, in the right place, with the right infrastructure, and delivered through proper democratic planning, not forced piecemeal onto a community that has already taken its share.

This is a grassroots campaign, run entirely by volunteers. To defend our village at every level, from community awareness to formal planning challenge, we need to go further.

Your donations will help us cover essential costs, including:

Legal and planning expertise to scrutinise the developers' applications and advise on technical objections.

Independent specialist assessments.

Awareness materials and consumables: posters, banners, leaflets, and digital outreach

Website and communication tools to keep the community informed and mobilised

We are committed to complete transparency, and every pound donated will go directly into the campaign.

This is about more than opposing a planning application. It's about standing up for our village, protecting our countryside, and demanding that local voices are heard.

If you believe Tidbury Green is worth fighting for, please consider making a donation today, however small. Together, we are stronger.
