Sadaqah Jariyah - Madrasah - Orphanage

As’Salaamu’alykum,

On behalf of my beloved father, Syed Dilawar Ali. We have made the intentions to raise money to build an orphanage/Madrasah.

As we grieve the loss of the best man in our lives, I wanted to share a part of our intentions. My father had always been a man who carried a heart of gold and had my mother by his side to care, love, protect and provide for. My mother, his one and only true love, was an orphan from the age of 16 years old. He was the perfect husband my mother could’ve ever asked for. My parents have forever been content. They shared a beautiful life together which gave hope and will forever be a beautiful story to share for generations to come.

Everything is within Allah’s Qadr, the death of my father on Tuesday 18th June 2024 has had us lost for words but we find our peace and strength knowing his death was as a shahid (martyr). He was travelling on his bike towards his family’s house where he was involved in a collision and had passed away at the scene. How beautiful is it to know during the Maghrib athan, my father’s soul was called back to his creator. He was one road away, he was 1 minute away from coming home but Allah truly is the best of planners.

As we went through such a difficult time, we faced it with strength leading to the date of my father’s Janazah on the 29th June. My father had always said the two women in his life were his wife and daughter. How beautiful is it to know he still shared his moments with his only daughter on her birthday. Subhan’Allah, a constant reminder of how we only get closer to our own date.

We make intentions to build this on behalf of our father in Bangladesh for the people there of all ages. A place to gather, a place to spread knowledge, a place of safety, a shelter, a home. We intend to keep you all involved along our journey together.

May Allah swt grant him Jannatul Firdous and make his grave a place of comfort and light.

May Allah swt forgive his sins.

May Allah swt accept our sadaqah.
