We are a small farm in Westminster, Maryland, looking to upgrade our abilities with a tractor. In 2024 alone, we donated over 5,000 lbs of food to those in need. Time saved on hard labor will increase our crop yield, and therefore increase produce donations to our CSA member's community.

A tractor will be a huge benefit, as it will replace a lot of the work we usually do by hand so that we can focus on other jobs. Some tasks a tractor will help with include harvesting, laying irrigation, turning over compost piles, cleaning animal pens, tilling, mowing, and spreading compost and cover crops.

So far on our 3.5-acre farm, we have done everything by hand, using wheelbarrows, small tillers, pitchforks, and shovels. In other words, we are the tractor! This takes a lot of time, which, if put towards other duties, will greatly enhance our farm.
