never thought I would have to ask strangers for help, but we have reached a point where we have no other choice.
My wife is currently more than five months pregnant and has been held in ICE immigration detention for an extended period of time. Despite her pregnancy, she has not received proper prenatal medical care, regular checkups, or clear information about our baby’s health.
In June 2025, my wife suffered a miscarriage, and doctors warned us that any future pregnancy would be high-risk. Today, she is pregnant again — this time while in detention — and the lack of medical care puts both her and our unborn baby at serious risk.
During this process, we lost our home. If my wife is released, she will be either in the final stages of pregnancy or may have already given birth, and we currently have no stable place to live. I am doing small, temporary jobs whenever I can and trying to save money, but despite my efforts, it is not enough to cover basic housing and living costs.
Our only legal option to request her release is to file a Habeas Corpus case in federal court, but we do not have the financial means to cover the legal and related costs. The funds raised here will be used strictly for:
• Emergency legal expenses (Habeas Corpus filing)
• Urgent medical and prenatal care upon release
• Temporary housing and basic living needs for my wife and our baby
