Support Emma to go on YWAM

Hi friends, it’s me, Emma. I am reaching out to tell you about an exciting opportunity that God has placed in front of me and to ask for your support.

I will be participating in a global missions trip with Youth With a Mission (YWAM) this coming year. To do this, I will be attending Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Honolulu beginning in September. For those of you that are not familiar with YWAM, it is an interdenominational non-profit that seeks to encourage and train believers to rise up and answer the call of Matthew 28:19: “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit”(NIV).

The DTS is broken into two segments: the first focused on learning with classes covering evangelism, the Holy Spirit, discerning God’s voice, missions, servant leadership, and much more. The second will involve 3 months of outreach in another country. Tasks and volunteer opportunities vary from country to country, but all outreach shares the common goal of making Christ known to the nations.

I’m amazed at how God has been working in my life over the past year and I feel so blessed to even be considering this opportunity. I am so excited to see what God will do in these 6 months.
