Stand With Minnesota: Mutual Aid for Communities Targeted by ICE

Across Minnesota, immigrant families are navigating a growing climate of fear due to continued ICE enforcement activity.

Parents are afraid to leave their homes for work.

Children are missing school.

Elders are going without food and critical medications.

Community members — including peaceful observers and nonviolent protestors — are also facing risk simply for showing up in support.

We are organizing real-time mutual aid to make sure impacted families and community members can access essential resources to stay safe, fed, and housed during this time.

Why This Fund Exists

I’ve been showing up as an ally since 2008 in response to systemic harm impacting vulnerable communities.

Right now, trusted local organizers and mutual aid networks are responding to urgent needs — but resources are limited.

This fundraiser allows us to:

• Get groceries into homes

• Provide emergency housing support

• Supply safety and health items

• Assist with transportation and childcare

• Support legal observers and rapid response efforts

Funds will be distributed in real time through established, community-based mutual aid partners working directly with affected families.

How Funds Will Be Used

Donations will go toward:

• Food & Basic Needs

Groceries, bottled water, hot meals, baby supplies

• Health & Safety Supplies

First aid kits, saline, masks, gloves, protective gear

• Emergency Housing Support

Rent assistance, hotel stays, short-term placements

• Transportation & Childcare

Gas cards, transit passes, childcare stipends

• Community Support Needs

Supplies for trained legal observers and documentation efforts

This will help stabilize urgent needs over the next 30–60 days and allow mutual aid partners to respond quickly as situations develop.

If we exceed our goal, additional funds will go toward:
